In addition, we are licensed under the Minnesota Board of Cosmetology, license #22001519. We offer several cosmetology fundamental courses for eyelash extensions and esthetic training. We also offer BCE approved continuing education courses for licensure renewal.

Minnesota Brow Lash & Medspa Academy is also a licensed Body Art Facility under the Health Department. Our on-site staff Training Master is a certified Craft Master. At Minnesota Brow Lash & Medspa Academy, we offer both online/virtual training programs as well as our hands-on, on site training programs to accommodate your schedule and needs.

We offer a flexible rolling start program. Students can begin their program immediately after registration. Students are able to choose the start dates of their program and work through all of the online material at their own pace. This will allow us to accommodate each person’s schedule as needed. 

Our experienced instructors have been doing nails combined for over 35 years, and we are dedicated to give each student individualized training that will provide strong technical skills as well as an eye for artistry. Our program covers basic manicures, pedicures on natural nails, artificial including nail extensions, gel, acrylic & dip. We also cover best business practices, state laws & rules so that each student is readily prepared to take their state examinations after training. Our MN Board of Cosmetology-approved program will allow you to become a licensed Nail Technician in the State of Minnesota. 

Per the state of Minnesota, our program is a total of 350 hours. We split this into 200 hours of online education and 150 hours of in-person practice. Students will alternate between taking online hours from home and in-person education at our school. We have pre-scheduled lecture dates with each of the topics that are set in the online platform, when you complete the preclinical (online) portion of each topic you are eligible to come onsite for the lecture & demo portion. 

While students are working on the preclinical (online) portion- there is no set schedule while working on this material, it is all self-paced.

Mondays 10 am- 6 pm

Tuesdays 10 am- 6 pm

Wednesdays 10 am- 6 pm 

(Onsite lecture days will have a scheduled topic each week- preclinical hours must be completed before coming to the onsite lecture portion) 

During Clinical portion- a quota sheet will be provided and students will work towards completing the set number of each nail technique needed, once the hours and quotas are fulfilled students are eligible to take their State Examinations & apply for their license through the Minnesota Board of Cosmetology.

To become a licensed nail technician in Minnesota, you need to complete a minimum of 350 hours of training at an approved cosmetology school, pass both a written and practical state licensing exam administered by the Minnesota Board of Cosmetologist Examiners, and then apply for your license once you’ve successfully passed the exams.

Students wishing to have additional time to pay their tuition and fees can do so by choosing one of our payment plan options that we have available. The payment plans come in one of three options: Affirm, Paypal or Individualized Plan made through the Academy. To enroll in a payment plan, choose the course that you are interested in, complete the registration form and choose the option that best fits your needs.
